Getting your Supershift schedule onto a new phone
The schedule lives on the device. That is the selling point and it is also the thing that bites on upgrade day.
What restores it
Cloud sync is the mechanism: the listing describes it as keeping devices aligned and instantly restoring your data when you get a new device. It is optional and it is part of Pro.
If you never turned it on
Then your schedule is on the old phone and nowhere else, because no account was ever made — that is the same design that keeps your data private. Before you wipe or trade the old handset:
- Turn cloud sync on there, while the app still has the data, and let it finish.
- Failing that, export the schedule out as a file — exporting is on the Pro side too.
- Failing both, photograph the months that matter. It is crude and it has saved people a long evening.
A device-to-device transfer of the whole phone usually carries the app data with it. A fresh install signed into the same account does not, because there is no account.
