The rotation

Ward rotations are usually twelve hours, often on a pattern that does not line up with a week, and frequently set months ahead by an off-duty coordinator or a rota system you cannot edit.

Save the pattern once and it fills your own calendar forward as far as you want to look, and backward over the months you have already worked. What the rota system holds is the ward's version. This is yours.

Bank and agency shifts

This is the part worth having. A bank shift is a separate job with its own rate, worked on a day you were supposed to be off, and paid at some later point by someone who is not your ward.

Each one goes in under whoever you worked it for, with the hours, the rate and whether the money has arrived. At the end of the year that is a record instead of a guess — and it answers the question nobody can answer from memory: who still owes you.

What to switch off

The app is built for police, so it starts with categories like Court and a directory of jail and hospital addresses. Rename what you want, hide what you do not, and the law-enforcement side disappears. What is left is a rotation, your bank shifts and what they paid.
