Where the numbers come from
Every tool works from the same thing: the twenty-one rotation patterns, written out day by day. Nothing is estimated and nothing is looked up. Pick a rotation and the arithmetic is done in your browser.
What they will not tell you
None of this overrides your bid, your contract or your collective agreement. Leave, overtime, trades, court and local variations all move real days around. These show you the shape of a pattern, which is what you need when comparing two of them — and not much use for anything official.
What is deliberately missing
There is no tool here that fills in your whole year. That is what the app does, and doing it twice badly would help nobody. These answer the questions that come before that — which rotation is this, what is it worth, which one should I bid for.
