What Daly City does
Daly City Police Department serves a San Mateo County city of roughly 107,000 on the southern edge of San Francisco. Its Field Operations Bureau runs Administrative Services alongside four patrol divisions, A-1, A-2, B-1 and B-2, and a Community Division puts school resource officers into the city's schools, helps residents start neighbourhood watch groups and takes departmental questions at community meetings. The department also runs a Community Police Academy open to people who live or work in the city.
