TSA shift schedule at Albuquerque International Sunport
The hours, the tours and how the days off are decided for TSA officers at ABQ — taken from the agency’s own airport fact sheet, not from a jobs board.
TSA publishes a fact sheet for every airport it screens, and it sets out the tours worked at that one. Here is what ABQ publishes, and what it looks like in the app.
TSA's own airport fact sheet states that "ABQ is currently assessing candidates for part-time positions with a tour of duty of 27.5 hours per week", consisting of "5 workdays with 5.5 hours per day during the morning, afternoon and evening shifts of 4:30 -10:00 a.m. and 12:00 -5:30 p.m.; shifts are subject to change."
Sunday to Saturday, twice — the same order the calendar runs in.

September 2026
The two days off in the month above are an example, and that is the point. Twenty-seven and a half hours is the oddest weekly total in this section, and the sheet explains it: two published windows of five and a half hours each. The airport also states plainly that there is no public transport to it and no transit subsidy. You mark your own two days once and the year fills itself in.

Screening rosters are set by the airport, adjusted after they are issued, and the days off are bid. Why that is, in TSA’s own words.
