TSA shift schedule at Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport
The hours, the tours and how the days off are decided for TSA officers at BWI — taken from the agency’s own airport fact sheet, not from a jobs board.
TSA publishes a fact sheet for every airport it screens, and it sets out the tours worked at that one. Here is what BWI publishes, and what it looks like in the app.
TSA's own airport fact sheet states that "BWI is currently assessing candidates for Full-time = 40 hours per week" and "Part-time = 20 hours per week tour of duty. Five (5) days with four (4) hours per day during the morning, afternoon or evening shifts."
Sunday to Saturday, twice — the same order the calendar runs in.

The two days off in the month above are an example, and that is the point. Both tours published and all three shift periods, and nothing about which two days are off. You mark your own two days once and the year fills itself in.

- Full time
- 40 hours a week
- Part time
- 20 hours a week
Screening rosters are set by the airport, adjusted after they are issued, and the days off are bid. Why that is, in TSA’s own words.
