TSA shift schedule at Del Norte County Regional Airport
The hours, the tours and how the days off are decided for TSA officers at CEC — taken from the agency’s own airport fact sheet, not from a jobs board.
TSA publishes a fact sheet for every airport it screens, and it sets out the tours worked at that one. Here is what CEC publishes, and what it looks like in the app.
TSA's own airport fact sheet states that "CEC is currently assessing candidates for part-time positions" on a "20 hours per week tour of duty. Five (5) days of four (4) hours per day", with "current part-time hours include various shifts of the day". TSA is "currently offering a sign-on bonus of up to $10,000 for this duty location; paid out in two installments during the first 12 months of service".
Sunday to Saturday, twice — the same order the calendar runs in.

The two days off in the month above are an example, and that is the point. The largest sign-on bonus anywhere in this section, at a small airport on the far north California coast, for the commonest twenty-hour tour in it. A bonus that size is a statement about how hard the post is to fill, and it is paid over the first twelve months rather than on arrival. You mark your own two days once and the year fills itself in.
