TSA shift schedule at Hays Regional Airport
The hours, the tours and how the days off are decided for TSA officers at HYS — taken from the agency’s own airport fact sheet, not from a jobs board.
TSA publishes a fact sheet for every airport it screens, and it sets out the tours worked at that one. Here is what HYS publishes, and what it looks like in the app.
TSA's own airport fact sheet states that "HYS is currently assessing candidates for part-time positions" on a "20 hours per week tour of duty" worked as "five (5) days of four (4) hours per day or four (4) days of five (5) hours per day and can include split shifts". The published shifts are Monday to Friday 5:30-7:30 a.m., 10 a.m.-2 p.m. and 2:30-5:30 p.m.; Saturday 7:30 a.m.-2 p.m. and 10 a.m.-2 p.m.; Sunday 7:30-9:30 a.m. and 12:30-5:30 p.m.
Sunday to Saturday, twice — the same order the calendar runs in.

September 2026
The two days off in the month above are an example, and that is the point. This is the most completely published week in the section: every shift on every day of the week, named. A two-hour Sunday morning block and a five-hour Sunday afternoon one are different jobs, and only a sheet this specific lets you see that before you apply. You mark your own two days once and the year fills itself in.
