TSA shift schedule at Eppley Airfield
The hours, the tours and how the days off are decided for TSA officers at OMA — taken from the agency’s own airport fact sheet, not from a jobs board.
TSA publishes a fact sheet for every airport it screens, and it sets out the tours worked at that one. Here is what OMA publishes, and what it looks like in the app.
TSA's own airport fact sheet states that "OMA is currently assessing candidates for full-time and part-time positions. Full-time = 40 hours per week tour of duty. Part-time = Five (5) days of five (5) hours per day tour of duty. Current part-time shifts are in the afternoon and evening hours."
Sunday to Saturday, twice — the same order the calendar runs in.

September 2026
The two days off in the month above are an example, and that is the point. TSA gives the tour and the shift periods - afternoon and evening for part time - and not the days off, so no cycle is drawn. You mark your own two days once and the year fills itself in.

- Full time
- 40 hours a week
- Part time
- five days of five hours
Screening rosters are set by the airport, adjusted after they are issued, and the days off are bid. Why that is, in TSA’s own words.
