TSA shift schedule at Portland International Airport
The hours, the tours and how the days off are decided for TSA officers at PDX — taken from the agency’s own airport fact sheet, not from a jobs board.
TSA publishes a fact sheet for every airport it screens, and it sets out the tours worked at that one. Here is what PDX publishes, and what it looks like in the app.
TSA's own airport fact sheet states that Portland "maintains a 24 hours a day, seven days per week flight schedule", that "PDX is currently assessing candidates for full-time and part-time positions", and that "full-time positions are 40 hours per week tour of duty. Part-time positions are 20 hours per week, 4-5 days of 4-5 hours per day." It also prints the shift windows: "morning shift start times range from 3:30 a.m. to 5:15 a.m., afternoon shift start times range from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m."

Two variables, and TSA does not say which combination you get or which days are off, so more than one week satisfies what is published and no cycle is drawn.
