TSA shift schedule at Telluride Regional Airport

The hours, the tours and how the days off are decided for TSA officers at TEX — taken from the agency’s own airport fact sheet, not from a jobs board.

TSA publishes a fact sheet for every airport it screens, and it sets out the tours worked at that one. Here is what TEX publishes, and what it looks like in the app.

What TSA publishes for TEX

TSA's own airport fact sheet states that "TEX is currently assessing candidates for full-time and part-time positions. Those shifts are: Full-time is 40 hours per week tour of duty, Part-time is 30 hours per week tour of duty, Five (5) days of six (6) hours".

The two days off in the month above are an example, and that is the point. The same thirty-hour part-time week as Aspen, five days of six hours - the two Colorado mountain airports advertise a fuller part-time contract than the big hubs do. Which five days is not published. You mark your own two days once and the year fills itself in.
