TSA shift schedule at Trenton-Mercer Airport
The hours, the tours and how the days off are decided for TSA officers at TTN — taken from the agency’s own airport fact sheet, not from a jobs board.
TSA publishes a fact sheet for every airport it screens, and it sets out the tours worked at that one. Here is what TTN publishes, and what it looks like in the app.
TSA's own airport fact sheet states that "TTN is currently assessing candidates for part-time positions", worked as "25 hours per week tour of duty. Three (3) workdays with eight (8) to nine (9) hours per day", on morning and afternoon shifts. The morning shift runs 4 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Sunday to Saturday, twice — the same order the calendar runs in.

The two days off in the month above are an example, and that is the point. Three long days rather than five short ones, and it is part-time. Four days off a week on a part-time contract is a pattern almost nobody else in this section publishes. You mark your own two days once and the year fills itself in.

Screening rosters are set by the airport, adjusted after they are issued, and the days off are bid. Why that is, in TSA’s own words.
