How it works

Supershift's listing covers sharing your schedule with friends, family or colleagues so everyone stays current. Reviewers describe the practical route: shifts land in the iPhone's own calendar, and from there into whatever calendar the household already shares.

The bit that catches people

Because it runs through a shared phone calendar, an edit on your side can need accepting on theirs — a reviewer describes exactly that. If your wife is looking at a month you changed a week ago, that is usually why.

What you are handing over

This is the part worth thinking about for a minute. A work calendar shared whole carries everything written on it. On a police calendar that can mean the detail you worked, the money it paid and the court you sat at — going to a shared family calendar that may itself be shared onward.
