The Dade City Police Department is the municipal force for the City of Dade City, the seat of Pasco County. It is led by a Chief of Police with a Captain of Police Operations over uniform patrol, K-9, school resource officers and crossing guards, and a Captain of Police Administration over criminal investigations, forensics, property and evidence, records and communications, who also serves as public information officer and manages recruitment, professional standards and grants.
