NO PRIOR SERVICE IS REQUIRED: the same page says “Murray City is recruiting for both new and lateral transfer Police Officers”, and prices the lateral treatment separately — “1-for-1: Years of service honored for lateral candidates up to 8 years (including prior Corrections experience)” — so the range floor is the new-hire rate. EXCLUDED as above base: shift differential of 2.5% afternoons and 5% nights, the Master Officer Program top-out wage of $49.41, $3,500 annual tuition reimbursement and the Employee Down Payment Assistance Program.
