The Rupert Police Department serves the city from Fremont Avenue, with office hours from 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday and after-hours calls going to the Minidoka County Sheriff's dispatch. The department has moved into a new facility which, in addition to added safety features, provides a community training room that will be available to various groups in the area. It also boasts a large outdoor shooting facility that is open to the public and hosts a variety of events throughout the year, including hunter's education classes and the annual Zombie Shoot.
