So the range floor is the non-lateral entry rate, not an experience-priced placement. EXCLUDED: the lateral signing bonus, being neither base pay nor available to an entry hire. AUDITED 17 SEPTEMBER 2026 AGAINST LAYTON CITY'S OWN DOMAIN, AND THE OUTCOME IS THE THIRD ONE: THE CITY PUBLISHES NO FIGURE OF ITS OWN. `checked` DELIBERATELY LEFT AT 21 AUGUST because nothing was verified against an agency figure. Re-read 17 September 2026: the pay range is unchanged at $30.01 - $52.02 an hour and the lateral separation is unchanged ('Lateral Applicants - starting wage based on years experience. Year for year credit for experience at other similar sized agencies will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis', plus up to $3,000 signing bonus for laterals), but it is no longer accepting applications. A closed notice cannot be refreshed into currency, so the flag stays until Layton posts again or publishes a schedule.
