The posting carries a four-column table: **Police Officer 1 | Starting Pay $29.69 | Full Pay Range $66,390-$96,265 | 0-2 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE.** Above it sit Police Officer 2 ($33.58, 3-5 years) and Police Officer 3 ($37.98, 6+ years). **LEHI RUNS ON 2,236 HOURS A YEAR, NOT 2,080** — officers work 86 hours every two weeks, and the posting confirms the basis in writing: “city paid retirement (BASED ON 2236 HOURS/YEAR)”. $29.69 x 2,236 = $66,386.84, which is the city's printed $66,390. At 2,080 the same rate would read $61,755, so the basis is worth $4,635 here. Second Utah agency off 2,080, after Tooele's 2,184. **THIS ROW REVERSES TWO EARLIER REFUSALS OF MINE AND THE LESSON IS SPECIFIC: I READ THE PROSE AND MISSED THE TABLE.** The same advert says “Starting wage for full-time officers with experience is $29.69/hour”, and on that sentence alone the figure looked like a lateral rate. **The table settles it — $29.69 is the STARTING PAY of the 0-2 YEARS grade, and lateral placement is handled on a separate line: “Lateral Officer wage determined by Chief of Police depending on experience”, with up to 8 years matchable at the Chief's discretion.** The Police Officer I advert's DOE band ($29.69-$43.05, starting wage not typically above the $36.37 mid-point) is the same grade priced for applicants who may bring service. EXCLUDED as above base: $100/month uniform allowance, city-paid medical, dental and retirement, 12 paid holidays (121 hours). RE-READ 17 SEPTEMBER 2026 AND THE POSTING IS STILL OPEN AND UNCHANGED, WORD FOR WORD. `checked` NOT MOVED, because Lehi City publishes no figure on its own domain and re-reading the same tenant is not verification against the agency. The four-column table still reads Police Officer 1 $29.69 / $66,390 - $96,265 / 0-2 years, Police Officer 2 $33.58 / $74,513 - $108,045 / 3-5 years, Police Officer 3 $37.98 / $83,687 - $121,346 / 6+ years; the retirement line still states 'city paid retirement (based on 2236 hours/year) in the URS system', which is what proves the 2,236 basis; and the lateral line still reads 'Lateral Officer wage determined by Chief of Police depending on experience', with up to 8 years matchable. lehiut.applicantpro.com is Lehi City's own ApplicantPro tenant carrying the City's own table, so the flag is about where the text is hosted, not who wrote it. SEARCHED AND NOT FOUND: any Lehi City salary schedule, compensation plan or budget pay table on lehi-ut.gov or on Utah's statewide Public Notice Website. The figure is as well evidenced as a vendor-hosted figure can be and the flag stays until Lehi publishes a schedule of its own.
